- Please Note: Though these services are being procured by the Bureau of Reclamation, the services are provided to and funded by the Utah Reclamation Mitigation and Conservation Commission. The project requires treatment of approximately 1,200 linear feet of the Duchesne River stream banks. The design of the improvements has already been obtained by the Government. The selected Contractor will provide all required materials including rock, all equipment, and labor to install the stream bank treatments in accordance with the design, meeting all required specifications of rock size, dimensions, hardness, and quantities. Construction oversight will be provided by the Government. There will be a pre-award site visit on Thursday, August 13th, at 2:00 p.m. The meeting place will be Angler Access Parking Lot; 100 yards west of the Duchesne River, Tabby Swale Road, Hanna, Utah. This project is funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. Weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting on progress of the project is required. Solicitation No. R09PS40R01 will be issued on or about August 3, 2009, and will be available for downloading directly from the following website: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The date for receipt of quotes is August 21, 2009. This solicitation will be processed using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. It is anticipated that the contract will be awarded on or about August 25, 2009. This is a total small business set-aside. The NAICS Code is: 238910; the small business size standard is $14 million. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by this agency. Prospective contractors MUST be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at http://www.ccr.gov to be eligible for award.
