- NSN 4230-01-171-2550, Part Number 5-45-5125, The item to procure is a Tensioner, Belt, Pump, End Item is decontamination system c/o: Bracket Weldment 5-45-5121; Roller, V-Belt Tensioner 5-45-5124; Ring 5-45-5123; Ball Bearing 5000 2RS; Washer, Flat MS9321-11, The part is approximate 5 inches long X 3.543 inches wide with a cadmium or zinc plating applied per drawing specification. Requirements, Tensioner, Belt, Pump. FOB is destination. For use on the M17A3. The proposed contract will be a 5-year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract with a guaranteed minimum quantity of 343 each and a maximum contract quantity of 2,500 each. The proposed contract is 100 % set-aside for HUBZone small business concerns. Offers from other than HUBZone small business concerns will not be considered. Estimated issue date is 4 Sep 2009. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capacity to satisfy the Governments requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. The solicitation for this requirement may contain technical data whose export is restricted by the Arms Export Control Act (Title 22, U.S.C., Sec 2751, et. seq.) or the Export Administration Act of 1979, as amended, Title 50, U.S.C, App. 2401 et. seq. Violations of these export laws are subject to severe criminal penalties. Disseminate in accordance with provisions of DoD Directive 5230.25. This also applies to distribution of the TDP to all SUBCONTRACTORS at every level. To be eligible to gain access to export controlled TDP whether it is via CD or web access through the Federal Business Opportunities Technical Data Package (FBO-TDP) process. You must have a current DD 2345, Militarily Critical Technical Data Agreement certification on file with the Defense Logistics Information Service (DLIS). To obtain certification, go to http://www.dlis.dla.mil/jcp/, click on documents, and follow instructions provided. Processing time is estimated at three days after receipt. Once the solicitation has been issued and upon receipt of certification, you may request the TDP in accordance with the instructions stated in the TACOM-LCMC Rock Island Solicitation Information Page, https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm.
