- THIS IS A PROSOLICITATION NOTICE FOR A COMMERCIAL ITEM PROCUREMENT. SOLICITATION FILES WILL NOT BE POSTED UNTIL ON OR ABOUT TUESDAY, AUGUST 18, 2009 This procurement is advertised unrestrictive and is open to participation by all interested firms with specialized experience and qualifications required by this solicitation. Solicitation: W912PX09T0011 Project title: INFORMATION ACCESS TOOL ENDECA (BRAND NAME OR EQUAL) Place of Performance: JIATFS, Truman Annex, Bldg 1289, Naval Air Station, Key West, FL Point of Contact: Sarah F. This will be the only method for distributing the solicitation documents and subsequent amendments. This solicitation will be available for download at the website: https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/registered/fedbizopps_entry_form.cfm Amendments will be posted to this website. It is the offerors responsibility to check the web site periodically for any amendments to the solicitation. Description: The project is located at JIATFS, Truman Annex and Boca Chica within the Naval Air Station, Key West, FL. A commercial off-the-shelf information access tool (ENDECA Brand Name or Equal) that enables analysts to quickly locate all data relevant to a case, and create linkages between disparate sources of data that might otherwise not be known or realized in a timely manner. The right information access tool(s) will provide our Enterprise Database (EDB) users with a window back into the EDB and legacy databases to allow operators and analysts to have seamless, instant access to more than 2.5 Terabytes of operational data. It will allow operators and analysts the ability to have the capability to immediately filter and manipulate search results to isolate the needed subset of data. Requirement includes on-site installation and training plus one year maintenance support with call-in problem resolution support during normal business hours.
