- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This announcement is a combined synopsis/solicitation and it shall be the only solicitation. My customer is in demand for (8)-Quantum Scalar i2000 4GB LTO-4 Tape Drive Modules, 4GB Storage networking, field-upgrades- #LSC2K-UTDT-L4B to Replace and Trade-In (8)-LTO-2 Tape Drive Modules-#700071-01, and (1)-Quantum Library Tape Drive Module, native Fibre Channel or Storage Networking (SNW), Installation, up to 12, Zone 1 - #SSCBB-NTDF-012. Quotes are being requested for the following solicitation. The solicitation number is W91QV1-09-T-0100 and is a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 05-18. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541519 with a Small Business size standard of $25M. This requirement is set aside as 100% Small Business. The due date and time for all quotes are August 19, 2009 at 12:00 PM. To be eligible for an award, prospective offerors must be, actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Internet site, www.ccr.gov. All quotes shall be clearly marked with the offeror's business name, business address, POC's name and phone number or email address and the above solicitation number. Submit all quotes on company's own document, displaying Line Item description, Item Qty, Item Unit Price, Total Amount, etc. Acceptable means of quote submission includes; email (andrea.corbin@us.army.mil), fax (703-806-4480), U.S. Postal or Courier Service. Quotes submitted via U.S. Postal or Courier Service shall be addressed to: Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Attn: Andrea Corbin, 9410 Jackson Loop, Suite 101, Fort Belvoir, VA 22060-5134. Submit both unit price and total price for each Line Item on the quote. The Government shall award a Firm Fixed Price Contract resulting from this solicitation based on LOWEST PRICE TECHNICALLY ACCEPTABLE in accordance with FAR 15.101-2. Only Brand Name (as stated on the solicitation) shall be accepted and all items will be delivered to a Fort Belvoir, VA 22060 address within (7) days after contract is awarded. The Provisions and Clauses that pertain to this solicitation are but not limited to: 522.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items [The evaluation criteria shall be the Lowest total price submitted], 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (Offerors must submit their Signed Reps and Certs from http://orca.bpn.gov with their quote), 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes of Executive Orders-Commercial Items, and 252.232-7003 Electronic Submission of Payment Requests and Receiving reports. Make all offers valid for at least 30 days.
