Description
The following amendment hereby responds to questions received in response to the subject solicitation. Question 1) Are there any humidity requirements? Is so what is the humidity range? Answer 1) The humidity requirements are already listed. See item 6 Question 2) Is the 81inch height requirement for move in only, or is this the maximum height allowable in the chambers final resting spot? (#2) Answer 2) Actually it’s for move-in only. Question 3) Is NIST supplying the floor rails? (#5) Answer 3) Yes. Question 4) What is the load inside the chamber, size, material type, weight and if any heat dissipation? Or shall we consider the heating and cooling rate with the chamber empty? (#12) Answer 4) Support (and thus weight) requirement is given in 5. Pressure vessel going inside the chamber is roughly 16 inches diameter, 22 inches long, of 304 Stainless steel with wall thickness nominally.105 inches. Within this pressure vessel is a cylinder that is 14 inch diameter and 16 inches long, constructed of.048 thick stainless steel. There are sealing surfaces on the outer pressure vessel that are of 304 SS. NIST is going to actively heat / cool the vessel, so that it is very close to the chamber temperature. So we don’t need to consider the vessel in the heating and cooling rate spec. In other words, the spec is for an empty chamber. Question 5) What is the temperature range for the heating and cooling rate? (#12) Answer 5) Over the entire temperature range specified in 7. Question 6) Is there a test profile that you are typically running? (#12) Answer 6) No.
