- Solicitation # above should read N00421-09-T-0170 Solicitation N00421-09-T-0170 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). This action is set aside for small business. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order on a sole source basis with ALDEC, INC. (MANUFACTURER MUST BE ALDEC, INC. – AWARD ALL OR NONE) for the part numbers listed below, under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1. The contract line item numbers and descriptions are **CLIN 0001 Quantity 2 ea P/N AEE-VHDL-N ACTIVE-HDL Expert Edition, CLIN 0002 Quantity 2 ea 12-month maintenance contract for the ACTIVE-HDL Expert Edition (EE), CLIN 0003 Quantity 2 ea P/N APE-VHDL-N ACTIVE-HDL Plus Edition (PE), CLIN 0004 Quantity 2 ea 12-month maintenance contract for the ACTIVE-HDL Plus Edition. Award is expected 13 AUG 2009. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by 12 Aug 2009 will be considered by the Government for future procurements. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not pay for any information received.
