- Description
- The National Marine Fisheries Service, 166 Waters Street, Woods Hole, Massachusetts has a requirement for a vendor to - Provide all labor, supervision, equipment and material to develop a hand-held device that can effectively be used at sea on a commercial fishing vessel, by observers, to test the audibility of individual pingers, while attached to actively fishing gillnet gear that is being hauled onboard in accordance with the Statement of Work. Period of Performance: September 1, 2009, or date of award, whichever is later, through March 31, 2010. This acquisition will be issued as an RFQ and awarded as a firm-fixed price order under simplified acquisition procedures. This requirement is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. To be eligible for award, offerors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR): www.ccr.gov, and obtain (and provide with the offer) a DUNS number by calling 1-800-333-0505. The FSC for this is H220 and NAICS Code is 334511, small business size standard is 750 employees. No Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) rating assigned. Copies of the solicitation will only be posted on FEDBIZOPPS webpage www.eps.gov. Hard copies of the RFQ will not be issued. It is incumbent upon contractors to monitor FIDBIZOPPS for the release of the RFQ, specification, and all subsequent amendments. Telephone requests will not be honored.
