- The Government intends to negotiate a sole source firm fixed price type contract, in accordance with FAR part 6.302-1, for the acquisition of replacement parts for state of the art armored vehicles manufactured by Scaletta Moloney Armoring Corp required by the US Secret Service. This announcement is for information purposes only. A sole source RFQ shall be issued only to Scaletta Moloney Armoring Corp. Only vendors that can provide Scaletta Moloney Armoring Corp manufactured parts should identify their interest and submit their capabilities to meet the above requirements before this notice closes via email to the Contract Specialist, Keturah Tate. However, submission of interest does not guarantee consideration by the Government for this requirement and is solely at the discretion of the Government. Submission of interest may initiate competition for future procurements of same or similar items, but is not guaranteed. Any responses received after the closing date or without the required information will be considered non-responsive to the synopsis and not be considered. The Government shall not be responsible for any costs in the preparation to this announcement. Offers shall be submitted no later than 12 August 2009 at 1600 hours to Keturah.Tate@usss.dhs.gov. This requirement is unrestricted. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) is 336211.
