- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) has a requirement for a Series 9300 clamp-on system and the Model 2101 Rotary Torque Measurement System torsionmeters to measure shaft torque. To meet this requirement NSWCCD intends to negotiate a non-competitive procurement with Sensotec (Honeywell), Incorporated, 2080 Arlingate Lane, Columbus, Ohio 43228. Sensotec manufactures the required equipment and the existing compatible torsionmeter equipment currently used by NSWCCD. Award of a firm-fixed price purchase order is anticipated under Simplified Acquisition procedures. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes however all responsible sources submitting quotes within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis shall be considered by the agency. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
