- RECOVERY - The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service contemplates entering into negotiations with one of the Multiple Award MATOC Design-Build IDIQ Contractors under a Multiple-Award contract for U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. It is anticipated that a Firm-Fixed price Task Order will be issued requiring the Contractor to design a New Environmental Education Building and Renovate the Existing Salt Water Boat Ramp at St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge, St. Marks, FL. The contractor will also be required to design a New Solar Supplemental Energy Systems for the Existing Officer and Fire Cache Buildings and replace Existing Through-Wall HV/AC Units in the existing shop building at Lower Suwannee National Wildlife Refuge, Chiefland, Florida. NACIS Code is 541310; Small Business Size Standard is $4.5 Million; TAS::14 2911:TAS. The Project Nos. are R4CA, R4BK, and R4KA. The magnitude for this requirement is estimated to be between $100,000 and $250,000. POC for this requirement is E. D. Bradley, Contract Specialist, at (404) 679-4033. The New Environmental Education Building will be approximately 3,000-4,000 SF in size and will include a class/meeting/conference room, public toilets, storage room and work room providing access to the existing adjoining visitor's center. The renovation of the existing Salt Water Boat Ramp will include removal of existing precast concrete ramp floor logs, and the existing concrete approach apron, the construction of new poured in-place boat ramp, approximately 29' wide by 54' long, with vehicle approach apron, concrete center divider, concrete backup curb at bottom of ramp, and new stone rip-rap to fill existing eroded areas around the ramp. This work is to be performed at St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge. At Lower Suwannee National Wildlife Refuge, the Contractor will be required to design the addition of a Solar Supplemental Energy System for the existing office building and the existing Fire Cache Building and replacement of four (4) existing through-wall HV/AC units in the office area of the Shop Building. The Contractor will provide limited construction contract administration services for this project.
