- PRESOLICITATION NOTICE FOR ON-SITE SURGICAL CARE SERVICES The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 1 is soliciting proposals to provide surgical care services for beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) Manchester, 718 Smyth Road, Manchester, NH, 03104, for a one year base period, with two one-year options to be exercised at the discretion of the government. The purpose of this contract is to provide comprehensive surgical care services in the diagnosis and treatment of General and Vascular Surgical conditions. The board-certified physician will be required to provide on site and telephone consultations for patient requiring surgical services to veteran beneficiaries of the VA Medical Center, Manchester, NH. Requirement will include the contractor to hold privileges at local facilities i.e. Elliot Hospital, Catholic Medical Center, Parkland MC and/or Concord Medical Center for admitting during non clinic hours for patients of the VA Medical Center, Manchester, New Hampshire. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Proposals will be evaluated on the technical evaluation factors contained within the solicitation. The Government intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price contract and the acquisition is unrestricted for Full and Open Competition. NAICS code: 622110, size standard: $34.5 million. All offerors shall be registered with the CCR database at www.ccr.gov to be considered for an award. This requirement is subject to the availability of funds. The Solicitation should be available on or before August 14, 2009 at www.fedbizopps.gov, with proposals due approximately September 11, 2009. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will also be available at the URL address and offerors are responsible for obtaining any/all amendments issued.
