Description

This project includes removal of a 71 inch x 47 inch arch culvert and replacement with Forest Service designed, contractor furnished, 40-ft span, glue-laminated, spill-thru design bridge. Work includes but is not limited to construction surveying and staking, minor clearing, minor roadway and structural excavation, supply and place pre-cast concrete grade beams, supply and mchine place rip rap, supply and place embankment, supply and place course aggregate backfill and crushed aggregate surfacing, supply and install signing adn all other incidental items necessary to complete the project in accordance with the plans and specifications. Magnitude of construction is between $100,000 and $250,000 in accordance with FAR 36.204. DUE TO THE NON-RESPONSE OF HUBZONE CONTRACTORS, THIS SOLICITATION IS CHANGED FROM A HUBZONE SET-ASIDE TO OPEN TO LARGE AND SMALL BUSINESSES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE SMALL BUSINESS COMPETITIVE DEMONSTRATION PROGRAM. THE PROPOSAL CLOSING DATE IS EXTENDED UNTIL AUGUST 28, 2009, 4:00 MOUNTAIN DAYLIGHT TIME.
