- RFQ SF18 The US Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service in Kimberly, ID has a requirement for a portable open path FTIR air monitoring system with the following characteristics. Portable, Real-Time, easy to use-display-setup & Collecting data in minutes. Have library of 400+ compounds, moncstatic system where the emitter and the receiver are co-located within the same housing at one end of the measurement path. Mercury-cadmium-telluride detector element and comes with a stirling engine for cooling without degrading the signal to noise ratio, modulated light beam, stable interferometer. Must be able to detect Ammonia, Nitrous oxide, carbon Dioxide and Methane. Able to run continuously, have software that reports real time concentrations and also stores the raw data files so the these spectra can be processed in the future. The USDA will evaluate proposals based on best value to the Government. The Cerex Monitoring Solutions Open Path FTIR282000, 30-Cube Retroreflector Array 282304 meets our requirements. Alternate products well certainly be considered which have characteristics which are equal to or better then the Cerex unit presented above. RFQ attached. FAR Part 52-212-4 & 52.212-5 apply.
