Description
Draft RFI-SOW Introduction. The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Air and Marine (A&M), hereby issues the following Request for information (RFI) pursuant to 15.201(e) to seek qualified sources capable of providing highly skilled personnel with an expertise in Unmanned Aircraft Systems to support CBP’s Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Headquarters Program Office and UAS Field Operations Centers. Required Capabilities. SEE DRAFT STATEMENT OF WORK ATTACHED. Information Requested. Respondents capable of performing this effort are requested to furnish a capability package based upon requirements within the attached draft Statement of Work. Include your company’s name, address, telephone number, point of contact with email address, business size, Data Universal Numbering (DUNS), Federal Cage Code, Security Clearance Level, general description of the company with proven ability to meet requirements, and a description of similar contracts, to include agency name, contract number, dollar magnitude, performance period, and point of contact with telephone number. All packages should include UNCLASSIFIED material only. Respondents shall submit one original, one copy and an electronic copy of the response in MS Office format (Word, Excel or Powerpoint) on CD. Packages should not exceed 10 pages, one-sided, 8.5 x 11 inch pages, single-spaced with one-inch margins and font no smaller than 11 point. The resultant Capability Packages are to be mailed to the following address: U.S. Customs and Border Protection Attn: Stephanie Alexander 1331 Pennsylvania Ave. NW, NP 1310 Washington, DC 20229 Responses are due by 4:00PM EST on August 18, 2009 Capability Package and Evaluation. The Government will evaluate the capability packages as compared to the requirements within the draft Statement of Work. Disclaimer. This sources sought notice is for informational and planning purposes only. This is not a Request For Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue a RFP in the future. Further, CBP is not seeking proposals at this time and will not accept unsolicited proposals. It does not constitute a solicitation and shall not be construed as a commitment by the government. Responses in any form are not offers and the government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this announcement. There are no funds available to pay for the preparation of responses to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this technical description is strictly voluntary.
