- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F3Z3459183A003; this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-33 15 Jul 09, Defense DCN 20090729, and AFAC 2009-0803 20090803. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238330. The business size standard is 1000 employees. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 2895. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 3511. Travis AFB intends to award a purchase order for a generator and a Automatic Transfer Switch. See Below CLIN 0001: Generator set, diesel, 60 HZ, 35KW-standby rating, 120/240Volt 1 phase, 4 wire, w/exhaust system for horizontal outlet, skid mounted, indoor-use. Must be Certified EPA, Tier 3 emissions certified for BAAQMD-MUST provide CARB Cert to be considered. Must have on-board gel cell battery, 12-lead broad-range alternator-105C, 70A breaker, 120v coolant heater for use below 40 degrees F. Must have Parts/service manuals. CLIN 0002: Automatic Transfer Switch-Power Command OTPC70, 70Amp, 480v Must have delayed transition, 1 phase/4wire, with switched neutral, onboard battery charger, matched to genset, rated for indoor use, 240v w/meters-bar graphs. Must have parts and service manuals. Award shall be made in the aggregate, all or none. The following provisions and/or clauses apply to this acquisition. Offerors must comply with all instructions contained in FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation -- Commercial Items (Jan 1999): (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
