- Description
- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command-West, Presidio of Monterey has a requirement for the replacement of the roll up door at Wilkson Hall USARC Bakersfield, California. The work consists of, but is not limited to the following: Completely remove and replace the existing roll up door in the assembly hall at the Bakersfield US Army Reserve Center. The new door will have both a chain drawn and motor controlled unit. Contractor will provide all plant, labor and equipment required to complete the job in accordance with the scope of work. Solicitation number W9124N-09-T-0050 will be available on or about 20 Aug 2009. A MANDATORY SITE VISIT is scheduled for Tuesday, 25 Aug 2009 at 9:00 AM. Site Visit location is: U. S. Army Reserve Center, 4101 Chester Avenue, Bakersfield, CA, 933301-1197. The primary Site Visit POC is Mr. Cliff Canty, (805) 302-1186. Alternate Site Visit POC: Wayne Alves, (562) 795-1444. Only contractors that sign in during the mandatory site visit will be considered for this acquisition. Proposals are due Tuesday 15 September 2009 at 4:30 pm (PST). This acquisition is a 100 percent set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Firms only. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 238290 with a size standard of $14.0M. Performance period is 120 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Estimated magnitude for this project is less than $25,000.00. Payment and performance bonds are not required for this project. The contract will be a single award, Firm-Fixed-Price type contract. Solicitation number W9124N-09-T-0050 will be available on or about 20 Aug 2009 on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website (http://www.fbo.gov) and the Army Single Face to Industry (AFSI) website (https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/).
