- Material List for Procurement This request is for OEM parts from an identified Caterpillar representative. SSDG Engine #4 onboard the USNS ARCTIC, Norfolk, VA is approaching 40,000 operating hours and is recommended by the OEM for a major overhaul. The USNS ARCTIC is scheduled to be available for repairs October 1-17, 2009. Failure to accomplish these repairs during this period will result in engine failure and allow significant impact to ship operational readiness and follow-on mission.
