- Description
- The VA Medical Center in Erie, PA is seeking professional A/Eservices for the Water Tanks and Pumps, Project #562-09-111. Theconsultant shall provide all architectural and engineering services asdefined to accomplish complete contract drawings, specifications,technical reports and cost estimates. The purpose of this project is todevelop the design and provide construction period services for thetype, location and size of an emergency water storage tank subsystem.A/E Services to include site investigation and verification of as-builtdrawings, drawings and specifications, cost estimates, constructionperiod services and site visits. A/E will provide 25% design submission,50% design submission, 75% design submission, 100% design submission andfinal contract documents. The work shall meet all applicable VA designcriteria and construction standards. The estimated construction budgetis between $250,000 and $500,000. Interested firms must submit one copyof completed SF330, electronically to jaimy.rand@va.gov or via mail tothe attention of the Contracting Officer (562/90C), VAMC, 135 East 38thStreet, Erie, PA 16504 by close of business August 24, 2009. NAICS541330 applies. This procurement is set-aside for emerging smallbusiness only. This is a total Emerging Small Business Set-aside. AnEmerging Small Business is defined as a small business concern whosesize is no greater than 50% of the numerical size standard applicable tothe NAICS code assigned to this announcement. NAICS code for thisannouncement is 541330. The small business size standard for this codeis $4.5 million. It is anticipated that this project will requiresite/civil engineer services.
