- Description
- This project is located entirely within Coos County on the southern coast of Oregon. The project begins at approximately River Mile (RM) 12 and extends to approximately RM 15. The authorized channel is 37 feet deep and 400 feet wide. A turning basin 37 feet deep, 800 feet wide and 1,000 feet long at RM 12; and a turning basin 1,000 long, 37 feet deep and 700 feet wide at RM 14.7 are authorized. Material will be disposed of at a designated ocean disposal site. Payment for dredging will be made by pre-post survey. Estimated quantity of dredged material is approximately 800,000 cubic yards. The anticipated in-water work window is 01 July 2009 to 31 October 2009.
