- ACTION CODE; C - COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FSC CODE; 20 -SHIP AND MARINE EQUIPMENT NAICS CODE: 334516, Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing RESPONSE DATE: 08/11/2009 ****AMENDMENT: CHANGE DELIVERY DATE OF SIDE SCAN SONAR TO TO 8/17/2009 **** This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for services in which the government intends to acquire in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions Procedures. Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), Alaska Fisheries Science Center, Auke Bay Laboratories has a requirement for leased equipment and relevant training in support of the side scan sonar survey of crab habitat located within multiple small embayments in the vicinity of Juneau in Southeast Alaska. See attached statement of work for complete description of services. All interested concerns must submit a quotation and documentation demonstrating the qualifications to provide services as described above within fifteen (15) days of the publication date of this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. A firm-fixed order is anticipated to be issued within 1 business days of response date, with a period of performance starting immediately.
