- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, La Tuna, Anthony, Texas, intends to issue solicitation RFQ-51002-002-10 for the requirements of: QUARTERLY SUBSISTENCE - MEATS (MEAT & MEAT PRODUCTS MERCHANT WHOLESALERS). This solicitation is restricted to 100% Small Business, FOB Destination, delivery dates will begin October 1, 2009 and ends October 15, 2009. Deliveries will be made to the Federal Correctional Institution, 8500 Doniphan Road, Anthony, Texas 79821. The contract type is firm-fixed type. The Government reserves the right upon award to make a formal single or multiple awards. The Government will award to the responsible offer(s) whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, that are considered to be the most advantageous to the Government, with past performance and price considered, prices being rated higher that past performance. The solicitation will be available on or after August 13, 2009, and will be distributed solely through the General Service's Administration Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fbo.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is September 14, 2009. Payment will be made using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) if the total amount awarded exceeds $30,000.00, otherwise payment will be made using the Government Purchase Card. All offerors must be registered in CCR at http://www.ccr.gov. Each offer is required per 52.212-3 to complete their representation and certifications via the On Line Representation and Certification Applications (ORCA) at http://orca/bpn.gov. Faith Based and Community Based Organizations (AUG 2005) Faith based and Community based organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
