- RECOVERY--USACE, Vicksburg District, has a requirement for J Bulb Tainter Valve Seals consisting of 8 seal assemblies. All J- bulb seals shall meet the standard Corps of Engineers natural rubber specification material with a 60-70 durometer hardness. J Type Bulb Seals: Seal Assembly includes: U-Shaped assemblies with a 2-3/4 in. diameter bulb x 1in thick tail x 6in OA wide, complete with 160 degree,1/16in. fluorocarbon cladding (special coverage on top seal) J-type seal with molded individual 3-way corners and molded straights hot factory vulcanize spliced to size (9ft-9-1/2in wide x 11ft tall). The fluorocarbon cladding will stop 2-3 inches from the ends and corner area of the corners so as not to be damaged in use under load. The J Bulb Taininter Valve Seals are to be delivered to 3505 South Grand Monroe, Louisiana. Solicitation Number W912EE-09-T-0031 will be available on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) Web Page at http://www.fbo.gov/ on or about 17 August 2009. Hardcopies will not be available.
