- RECOVERY - THIS CONTRACTING ACTION IS ISSUED UNDER THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA). The upcoming solicitation will be posted under competitive 8(a) procedures. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) has an existing need for demolition and replacement of three existing residences with basements and one bunkhouse at Seedskadee National Wildlife Refuge (NWR), Wyoming. The contractor will provide architectural and engineering design services by professionals licensed to practice in Wyoming, including architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering disciplines. Construct the facility in accordance with the approved US Fish and Wildlife Service design drawings and specifications. Prospective bidders are encouraged to visit the work area in order to examine the existing site conditions by making arrangements with the Project Leader. Site Visit information will be listed in the solicitation. GENERAL INFORMATION The estimated magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000.00 and $3,000,000.00. The total performance is 360 days from the Notice to Proceed. The upcoming solicitation will be using NAICS code 236115, New Single Family Housing Construction (except operative builders), with a size standard of $33.5M. The solicitation package is anticipated to be available electronically on or about 14 August, 2009 with an anticipated closing date of 15 September, 2009. Copies of the solicitation, specifications, and drawings can be obtained at http://www.fedbizopps.gov once available for issuance.
