Description
THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION NOTICE - THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL -The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 19 Rocky Mountain NetworkContracting Center proposes to enter into a single award contract forperipheral artery catheters for the Denver VA medical center. Servicesshall be for a base period of one year with two (2) one-year pre-pricedoptions for renewal. The solicitation package should be available fordownload on or about August 25, 2009. This is an unrestricted, openmarket solicitation. The NAICS is 339112 and the small business sizestandard is 500 employees. The contractor will be required to furnishperipheral artery catheters with the following characteristics: 1.Peripheral atherectomy vasculature capability. 2. Capable of ablatingand removing (by aspiration) atherosclerotic plaques and debrissimultaneously. 3. Capable of removing the full spectrum of arterialblockages. 4. Catheter shall allow access to multiple diameter arterialvasculatures without the need to change catheters. The contractorshall also furnish a peripheral artery catheter console to supportcatheter procedures. The console shall remain the property of thecontractor throughout the life of the contract. The contractor shallinstall the console at the medical facility, maintain and then removethe console at contract completion. All documents will be available atthis website in PDF format. All responsible sources may submit aproposal which shall be considered by the VISN 19 office. SolicitationVA-259-09-RP-0346 has been assigned and should be referenced on allcorrespondence regarding this announcement.
