- Description
- The project involves the 7.06+/- miles of road reconstruction for 01S07, 01S17, 01S33, 01S35Y, 01S37, 01S38, and 02S09Y. The work consisits of watering and grading existing road bed, compacting road bed with roller, pulling ditches, select clearing and disposal of tops and limbs by chipping. Also, placement of 1,247 tons of aggregate base is required. In addition, drainage excavation for rolling dips, lead off ditches, swales, and water bars is required. The placement of 140 linear feet of 24” diameter. C.M.P. riprap and other related work will also be required. Work areas are located on the Groveland Ranger District of the Stanislaus National Forest in Tuolumne County, California. From Groveland, California, proceed East approximately 3-10 miles on State Route 120 to Forest Road 01S07. Turn south to reach Forest Road 01S07, 01S37, & 01S38. Turn back to get on State Route 120 head East 3 miles to Hells Hollow Rd. and turn South to reach Forest Road 01S35Y, 01S17, & 02S09Y. Get back on State Route 120 head East 4 miles to Ferretti Rd. Turn North and go 3 miles to reach Forest Road 01S33. Government Estimate: Between $100,000 to $250,000.
