70 ADP Software SOLE SOURCE-- NOTICE OF INTENT M09PS00093 2008 IMPLAN DATA FOR ALTERNATIVE ENERGY SOCIOECONOMIC IMPACT ANALYSES AND OCS ECONOMIC IMPACT MODELS This notice is in accordance with FAR Subpart 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The U.S. Department of the Interior, Minerals Management Service (MMS), Procurement Operations Branch, is the contracting office for this procurement. The purpose of this notice is to announce the intent to award a Purchase Order on a sole source basis to the Minnesota IMPLAN Group Inc, in Stillwater, MN., who is the only company authorized to sell IMPLAN (IMpact analysis for PLANning) data and software). The Minerals Management Service anticipates awarding a contract to the Minnesota IMPLAN Group Inc for the 2008 IMPLAN data US National Package. Minerals Management Service will use the 2008 data as needed for socioeconomic impact analyses that may be required in conjunction with the numerous proposed OCS wind farms and other such projects. This procurement is in accordance with FAR Subpart 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Subpart 10,002(d)(1), Market Research, Procedures for commercial item. This is NOT a request for competitive quotes. This notice of intent is for informational purposes only. However, any information received by the POC listed below, by close of business on Thursday, August 13, 2009, will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this action based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
