- 212-3 SF 1449 Schedule of Items Atachment One This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number AG-03R6-S-09-0120 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-35. The clauses and provisions referenced in this solicitation can be found in full text format at http://www.arnet.gov/far. This procurement is being issued as a 100 % small business set-aside under NAICS code 423420 and nonmanufacturer small business size standard of 500 employees. The requirement is for two high speed duplicating and scanning copiers for Region One USDA Forest Service, Regional Office, Missoula, MT 59807. Essential requirements are listed in Attachment One. Price quotes shall include delivery FOB. The provisions at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, and 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items are applicable. Tailored as follows: Delete paragraph (f) of 52.212-1. The quoter acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee shall be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation. In addition to price and technical factors such as warranty, maintenance/ repair services, response time for maintenance and repair, compliance with requirements of solicitation, and ability to provide the supplies in a timely manner. Past performance shall be considered. Technical (non price) factors and past performance, when combined are equally as important as price. In order to be considered responsive to the solicitation, interested quoters shall provide a price quote, product literature, and information addressing the technical (non cost) factors as referenced in attached Schedule of Items and Description of Work. Maintenance service and repair plan shall be submitted with quote. The provision at 52.212-3, OFFEROR REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATION-COMMERCIAL ITEMS (Feb 2009) is applicable and must be completed and returned with quote. Only one award shall be made. Date needed by is September 15, 2009. Fax quotations will be accepted at (406) 329-3866. Email quotes will also be accepted. Address all quotes to the attention of: Leta Wicka, Western Montana Acquisition Zone. Clauses 52.212-4, contract Terms and conditions-Commercial Items (Mar 2009) and 2.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items (May 2009) are incorporated by reference. Additional FAR clauses are 52.203-6 with Alternate 1, 52.211-6, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-36, 52.222-19, 52.225-1, 52.225-13, 52.232-18, 52.232-19 and 52.232.33.
