- Oral Quotes Notice Requirement FAR 5.101 This is a notice that Laughlin Air Force Base is seeking oral quotes, IAW Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.101(a) (2), for three (3) each signal light gun used in runway control structure to notify personnel of clearances given to aircrew without an ability to communicate with outside agencies. Hand held, red/green/white light controlled by thumb switches, 12 V rechargeable battery and charger. They will meet FAA specification for ATC signal light guns. Light intensity: 6,000 cd for colored lights, beam speed: Not less than 1 degree or greater than 3 degrees, color: white or color beam. Colors (red and Green) are obtained using colored filters, lamp: 100 w dichroic reflector lamp. This acquisition is unrestricted and is under North American Industry Classification System code 423610 with a small business size standard of 500 employees.
