- The purpose of this announcement is to provide notice that the National Park Service (NPS) is releasing a solicitation numbered N8896090031. NPS has a requirement for air transportation/cargo services for non-hazardous, "dry" refuse materials from Kalaupapa National Historic Park (NHP) to Honolulu, HI for final disposal. Contractor will be responsible for providing any and all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, supervision, permits, licensing and insurance required to accomplish these services, including final disposal. The contract type being utilized to acquire the services is firm fixed-price contract. This notice meets the requirements of FAR 5.201. OBTAINING A SOLICITATION: Solicitation will be made available for viewing and/or downloading on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website on the date this notice is published. Solicitation documents will not be issued on compact disc (CD) unless the Government determines that it is necessary. Traditional hard copies of solicitations will NOT be available for this project. This procurement is not set aside for small business and will be issued pursuant to full and open competition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 481212 and the small business size standard is 1,500 employees. REGISTRATIONS: Offerors must have and/or maintain an active registration with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) website to be eligible for a Government contract award. In order to receive any contract award, a vendor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). A Firm Fixed-Price Contract will be awarded to the responsible offeror whose proposal conforms to the solicitation and is considered most advantageous to the government, technical factors and cost or price considered. Offerors are provided with 14 calendar days to submit offers in response to this solicitation.
