- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood the FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, intends to make a sole source purchase for Two (2) Phantom V710, color, 8GB memory high speed video cameras with nS shutter options; One (1) V640 color, 32 GB memory high speed video camera and Three (3) integrated lens control for Canon EF lenses. This equipment is required to meet 100% compatibility with existing equipment. The Phantom camera is proprietary to Vision Research of 100 Dey Road, Wayne, NJ. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 333315, with a size standard of 500. The solicitation is anticipated to be issued by August 10, 2009. The closing date is August 21, 2009. The anticipated award date is September 4, 2009. All items are to be priced FOB Destination of Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren, Dahlgren, VA 22448. This requirement shall be awarded under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The solicitation number is N00178-09-R-1056. DoD will no longer award contracts to contractors that are not registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR).
