- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood the FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, intends to make a sole source purchase for One (1) each Manportable Surveillance and Target Acquisition Radar (MSTAR); One (1) set Tripod Kit which includes tripod, radar adapter plate, tie down straps, and a canvas carrying bag; Three (3) days of On site Operator Training Course; Three (3) days On site Installation and Engineering Support; Eighty (80) hours Off site Telephone Technical Support. This equipment is required in order to duplicate fielded equipment for testing purposes. The MSTAR is proprietary to DRS Sustainment Systems, Inc. of 201 Evans Lane, St. Louis, MO. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 334511, with a size standard of 750. The solicitation is anticipated to be issued by August 10, 2009. The closing date is September 10, 2009. The anticipated award date is September 30, 2009. All items are to be priced FOB Destination to Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren, Dahlgren, VA. The solicitation number is N00178-09-R-1057.
