- This notice serves to announce the intent of the 14th Comptroller and Contracting Squadron (P) to issue a solicitation for Linens Service. The contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, materials, transportation and all else necessary to provide linen service for the Child Development Center, Medical Clinic, and Lodging at Columbus AFB, MS. The period of performance will be 1 Oct 09 - 30 Sep 10, with four, one-year option periods. The solicitation will be issued on or about 11 August 2009. The Performance Work Statement (PWS) will be posted with the Solicitation. This procurement is set aside 100% for Small Business concerns. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this procurement is 812320 and the small business size is $4.5 Million. The requirement will be solicited as a commercial service using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The evaluation criteria will be detailed in the solicitation. Award of this contract is subject to availability of funds in FY10. The solicitation will be posted on http://www.fbo.gov. There will be no paper copies of this solicitation available. All solicitation information may be obtained through the above referenced website. Interested parties should register online and subscribe to receive procurement announcements related to this solicitation by entering the website at http://www.fbo.gov. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the solicitation package. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Register via the CCR website at http://www.ccr.gov. Contractors must also submit their representations and certifications at the online Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) website at https://orca.bpn.gov. All prospective offerors interested in submitting a quote must have a commercial and government entity code (CAGE code). This notice does not obligate the government to award a contract, nor does it obligate the government to pay for any proposal preparation costs.
