- The Department of the Interior, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has a requirement for A&E DESIGN SERVICES FOR THE SEGMENT D BUILDING ADDITION AT THE UPPER MIDWEST ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE CENTER, LA CROSSE, WI. THE WORK WILL INCLUDE AN ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT, UPDATE THE CURRENT SEGMENT D DESIGN, ASSESS CAPABILITIES OF THE FIRE ALARM SYSTEM, INCORPORATE LEED CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS, VALUE ENGINEERING STUDY, CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT AND QUALITY ASSURANCE SERVICES, AND CONSTRUCTION PROJECT FINAL INSPECTION. The Government anticipates award of a non-commercial, Firm Fixed Price contract. The anticipated period of performance is 11/09/2009 through 03/31/2010. The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available at www.fedbizopps.gov on or about 08/31/2009. The associated solicitation number is 09ERSS0023. The offeror is responsible for monitoring the Fedbizopps site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). A formal solicitation, statement of work, and technical exhibits are not available for release at this time. This requirement is being issued as set aside for small business competition. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541310. The associated small business size standard is $4.5M. There is not an incumbent contractor.
