Notice Information Notice Type: Presolicitation 2009-Q-11653 Classification Code : R - Professional, Administrative and Management Support Services NAICS Code: 541-Professional, Scientific & Technical Services /541990 - All other Professional, Scientific and Technical Services Agency:/Office: Centers for Disease Control & Prevention Location: Procurement and Grants Office (Atlanta) Title: Development of Training Module for TB Outbreak Response Description(s): The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Procurement and Grants Office announces the upcoming release of the solicitation for the revision of the training curriculum, The CDC Self-Study Modules on Tuberculosis, to include a module on Outbreak Response. This module series has served as an important resourse in training scores of TB control workers. The project objective is the development of TB Outbreak Response training module for TB health care workers. The training materials module on Outbreak Repsonse should include study questions and case studies in a format that is consistent with the The CDC Self-Study Modules on Tuberculosis series. The content should include information from current CDC guidelines and input from CDC experts. Additional easy-to-use Outbreak Investigation and Response tools should be included in the module. The consultant for this project will be responsible for designing, devloping and writing the trianing module and developing tools for TB Outbreak Response. The consultant will work closely with CDC content experts and ensure that information is consistant with CDC guidelines. The module willinclude study questions and case-studies. The consultant should have a complete draft of the module that will be ready to be field tested at the end of three (3) months. The anticipated period of performance is four (4) months after award. All responsible qualified entities are invited to submit a proposal to be considered by the Government. Award is expected to be made on or before September 1, 2009. The anticipated release date of the solicitation is August 14, 2009. All interested parties must submit their request in writing to the Contracting Specialist, Terren Grimble at ibi9@cdc.gov.
