- RECOVERY--The United States Army Corps of Engineers, New York District, intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order for the procurement of one (1) Complete Modern Portable sub bottom side scan survey system with dual frequency single beam in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures specified under FAR Part 13. This solicitation number is a Request for Quote (RFQ), W912DS-09-T-0038; technical requirements for the Modern Portable sub bottom side scan survey system with dual frequency single beam are located within. The contractor shall provide and deliver the Portable Side Scanner and all attachments to the US Army Corps of Engineers, USCOE-NYD 3 Chapel Ave Port Liberte, Jersey City, NJ, 07305. The solicitation will be posted on or about 7 August 2009. Quotations will be submitted to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Contracting Division, Room 1843, 26 Federal Plaza, New York, NY 10278. This procurement is being solicited as a SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The applicable NAICS code is 334511, Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing. The small business size is 750 employees. The SIC code is 3669 COMMUNICATIONS EQUIPMENT, NEC. The media selected for issuance of Synopsis/Solicitation and amendments shall solely be at the discretion of the Government; accordingly, the media utilized for this project shall be the Internet.
