- RECOVERY -This solicitation is for work to include raising the dikes in Disposal Area 14A in Savannah Harbor. Approximately 600,000 cubic yards of material will be required for construction of the dike embankments. Also included in this project are clearing, silt fencing, grassing, raising two existing bird islands, relocation of 3 weirs and catwalks, extension of 3 out fall pipes and placement of geotextile material. The solicitation will be issued as a Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Invitation for Bids (IFB). This work will be funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. The magnitude of construction is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000. The solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be available on or about 24 August 2009. The bid opening date will be specified in the solicitation when it is issued. No additional media (CD Rom, floppy disks, faxes, etc) will be provided. This procurement will be issued as a HUBZone Competitive Set-aside. The solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be posted on FedBizOpps.
