Description
Bids are being solicited under solicitation number HSBP1009Q2600. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein. If your company can provide the product/services listed on the solicitation and comply with all of the solicitation instructions, please respond to this notice. GSA Schedule Bids Only: Sellers bidding on this opportunity MUST have the items requested on an existing GSA Schedule. The Schedule must either be in the Seller's name or the Seller must be able to document its ability to act as an agent of a partner's Schedule. Sellers must not bid more than their applicable contract ceiling price, excluding the FedBid Fee, for contract-specific items. If FedBid receives notice that, due to inclusion of the FedBid Fee, the Selected Bid's line item pricing is higher than the Selected Seller's applicable published government contract pricing, the FedBid Fee will be reduced to ensure the Selected Bid's line item pricing does not exceed the Selected Seller's applicable contract pricing. Sellers may offer Open Market items only in accordance with the approved Terms and Conditions of their respective GSA Schedule AND upon approval from the soliciting Contracting Officer. Information regarding GSA Schedules can be found at www.GSA.gov. This requirement is unrestricted and only qualified sellers may submit bids. The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2009-08-19 13:30:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com. FOB Destination shall be Reston, VA 20191 The DHS Customs and Border Protection requires the following items, Exact Match Only, to the following: LI 001, Gold Level Support - Two (2) scheduled on-site preventative maintenance (PM) visits, including traveling expenses. System re-lamping done at the end of the year. Parts and Labor for the re-lamping are included. The additional PM trip will cover alignment, color balance and system maintenance. Two (2) unscheduled/Emergency on-site visits by a System Engineer to cover items like software issues, system upgrades, training and system configuration, It also provides a 10% discount on consumables, such as lamps. If additional emergency on-site support is need, appropriately discountedlabor will be provided. Travel expenses will be billed as actual. Definitions: Emergency Service Visits are when an Activu engineer is on site within 1-5 days of the determination that on site support is needed. Preventative Maintenance Visits are scheduled 2-3 weeks in advance of Activu being on site. NTC-Passenger Management will decide when to schedule the (2) scheduled and (2) unscheduled visits, during the year of service coverage., 1, Lot; For this solicitation, DHS Customs and Border Protection intends to conduct an online competitive reverse auction to be facilitated by the third-party reverse auction provider, FedBid, Inc. FedBid has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to conduct the reverse auction. A Seller may submit a series of pricing bids, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction. DHS Customs and Border Protection is taking this action in an effort to improve both seller access and awareness of requests and the agency's ability to gather multiple, completed, real-time bids. All responsible Sellers that respond to this solicitation MUST submit the pricing portion of their bid using the online exchange located at www.FedBid.com. There is no cost to register, review procurement data or make a bid on www.FedBid.com. Sellers that are not currently registered to use www.FedBid.com should proceed to www.FedBid.com to complete their free registration. Sellers may not artificially manipulate the price of a transaction on www.FedBid.com by any means. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format listed in the FAR Subpart 12.6 and 13.5. Quotes and or Bids are requested and no written solicitation will be issued. The solicitation number is HSBP1009Q2600 and is issued as an Request for Quotation (RFQ), unless otherwise indicated herein. The Request for Quote (RFQ) for TV Wall Display Services. The solicitation document, incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect Federal Acquisition Regulation FAC 2005-34. The following FAR clauses are incorporated by reference: FAR 52.212-1, FAR 52.212-3, FAR 52.212-4 and 52.212-5. The full text of a FAR clause may be accessed electronically at http://www.acqnet.gov/far. The North American Industrial Classification System Code is : 334220. This is a sole source requirement IAW FAR 6.302-1. This SOW has the following line items: Gold Level Support for Two projected Walls: 2X4 67 and One projected Wall: 2X3 50 Activu Data Walls Support Plan- support provides the same off-site and software upgrades as the Silver Plan. Plan is to includes Two(2) scheduled On-site Preventative Maintenance visits, including travel expenses. System relamping trips will occur at the end of each year. Parts and labor the (2) unscheduled/Emergency on-site visits by a System Engineer to cover items like software issues, system upgrades, training configuration and system labor will be provided. Travel expenses will be billed as actual. Period of Performance:9/1/2009-08/31/2010 Please see the attached Sole Source Justification. The Government Intends to award to Activu, Denville, NJ for the above listed items. FOB Destination.
