Description
The 96th Contracting Squadron, Eglin AFB, Florida intends to solicit and award a firm-fixed price contract for an Off-Axis Parabolic Mirror. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 and Subpart 13.5, As supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The announcement number is FA28239160AG02. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 333314 with a size standard of 500 employees. Please identify your business size in your response based upon this standard. The requirement consists of the following items: CLIN 0001: 2 EA. OFF AXIS PARABOLIC MIRROR The specifications are: Parameter Requirement IR Clear Aperture: 6 inches Focal Length: 24 inches Off-Axis Angle: 30 degrees Or Off-Axis Distance: 12.90 inches to center of mirror IR Wavelength Ranges: 1.5-5μm Coating: Protected gold Surface Quality: 60/40 Surface Figure: ¼ wave @ 633 nm Mounting: none Operating Temp: 15 to 27 degrees C Storage Temp: -12 to 43 degrees C Operating Humidity: 0-60% relative, non-condensing Operating Pressure: Standard Pressure, + 5% The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-33 effective 15 June 2009.
