- Description
- The Billings Area Indian Health Service is requesting proposals in response to Request For Quotation (RFQ)-10-09-044-TD to provide laundry services for the Blackfeet Service Unit, PHS Indian Hospital, Browning, Montana. The contract shall be awarded pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items (41 U.S.C. 253(g) and 253a and 253b), FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items (Title VIII of the Federal Acquisition Streamlining Act of 1994 (Public Law 103-355)), and FAR Subpart 37.6, Performance-Based Acquisition. This request is being solicited as restricted to 100% Small Business concerns. The contract will be awarded for a base year (tentative start date is October 1, 2009 through September 30, 2010) with four 12-month options. Prospective contractors may access the solicitation from the Federal Business Opportunities website (uploaded to this announcement) or request a copy of the solicitation by contacting the Indian Health Service Contracting Office at (406) 247-7293, by faxing a request to (406) 247-7108, or by e-mailing tammy.dennert@ihs.gov. The tentative issue date of the solicitation is August 5, 2009, with a response date of August 26, 2009.
