Description
Solicitation 1300132115 is issued as a synopsis/request for quote. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis and to competitively procure the following line items using procedures set forth in FAR Part 13. (CLIN) 0001 – Closed Circuit Camera System These items are being procured in support of protecting personnel in the Propulsion Systems Evaluation Facility (PSEF), which operates a Rotor Spin Testing Area. This testing area is used to test smalll to large fan blades, capable of rotating at speeds in excess of 100,000 RPM. The cameras will ensure that all personnel are clear from the area before testing begins, and will be used to monitor external instrumentation devices such as oil levels and pressure guages. The following are primary characteristics that are needed for the closed circuit camera system: -Pan Tilt Zoom (PTZ) Dome Type Camera -Video camera will have a minimum magnification of 23x -Minimum Low Light capability of 0.15 Lux (Color) 0.015 Lux (B&W) -Field of View (FOV) of 50-55 degrees (Wide) 1.8-2.5 degrees (Tele) Horizontal -Wide dynamic range of 80x or better to enable the system to compensate for dramatic contrast changes -Use single coax cable per camera for all camera controls -Include Quad Matrix control for displaying four cameras on one videa screen -Built-in Surge and Limited Lighting Protection -Require 24VAC Power for operation Delivery is required FOB Destination to Naval Air Warfar Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Maryland by 30 September 2009.
