- This is a pre-solicitation notice for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and quidance of FAR 13.5 - Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. Defense Commissary Agency Solicitation HDEC02-09-T-0003 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This acquisition is for 100% small business set-aside subject to the North Americal Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 453110 (Florist). The Government will award one or more Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) from this solicitation, however, only one award will be made per line item. CONTRACT LINE ITEMS are for a variety of houseplants and foliages (plants) to be delivered to the following locations; LINE ITEM 0001 - Fort Eustis, Oceana NAS, Portsmouth NNSY, Langley AFB, Little Creek NAB, and Norfolk NB, VA., LINE ITEM 0002 - Fort Lee Commissary, Fort Lee, VA, and LINE ITEM 0003 - Shaw AFB Commissary, SC. Prices quoted shall be for the delivery, stockage, replenishment, and maintenance and care of the plants and the appearance of their designated area at the military commissaries listed above until they are sold. Prices shall remain effective until August 31, 2010. Performance will be for the period September 1, 2009, to August 31, 2010. Anticipated award date is August 24, 2009.
