- Recovery Action - This modification is issued to obligate American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (Recovery Act) of 2009 funds for the purpose of acquiring additional sextupoles magnets to increase the brightness of the Advanced Light Source at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Vendors desiring information on subcontracting opportunities are urged to contact the Laboratory's Purchasing Department. Pertinent information is available at the following URL: http://purch1.lbl.gov This is a modification of a competitively awarded contract. The contract is a cost reimbursement contract because the nature of the research mission precludes reasonable estimates of total costs needed to have a firm, fixed-price contract.
