- This project is a Small Business Set-Aside. GENERAL PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The purpose of this contract is for placement and compaction of the specified aggregate, including road reconditioning, on FDR 80 from MP0.00 To 0.60. And FDR 8000030 from MP 0.0 to MP 0.55. Rock shall be placed and compacted to a depth of 6 inches with widths shown in full accordance with drawings, specifications, and provisions of the contract. The performance period is 90 calendar days. PROJECT LOCATION: This project is located on Revilligigedo Island in Southeast Alaska. The project can be accessed from the City of Ketchikan. The project site is along FDR 80. SOLICITATION INFORMATION: The solicitation will be posted on FedBizOpps website on or about August 19, 2009 for viewing and printing. Potential quoters are requested to obtain the solicitation from the Internet. If unable to successfully obtain the solicitation from the internet, then a hard copy of the solicitation documents may be requested via fax at 907.228.6241. Fax requests must reference solicitation number AG-0116-S-09-0143. Telephone requests will not be honored. Quotes will be due approximately 21 calendar days after the solicitation issue date. AUTOMATIC NOTIFICATION: By registering to receive notification on posted synopses, you will be automatically notified via email of any changes to the project. To register, select Register to Receive Notification and follow the steps. Follow the same procedure for EACH project. PLAN HOLDERS LISTS: The Interested Vendors List (IVL) has replaced the plan Holders Lists that was previously available with solicitation packages. Access the IVL for all projects through the FedBizOpps website. To register as an interested vendor, select Register as an Interested Vendor and follow the steps. Follow this procedure for EACH project of interest. Use the Register as Interested Vendor option to add your company name to the IVL and then view or print the IVL by selecting View List of Interested Vendors for EACH project. IMPORTANT NOTE: In order to receive any contract award, Vendors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) databases. To register your firm in the CCR system, go to: http://www.ccr.gov or by calling 1-888-227-2423 or 269-961-5757. To register your firm in the ORCA system, go to: http://www.bpn.gov.
