- DRAFT PWS Daily News Digest The Department of Education (ED) is conducting a market survey to identify small businesses with the requisite knowledge, skills and capacity for an up-coming, Fiscal Year 2009 requirement. ED has a need to acquire daily education news digest services for the Office of Secretary's (OS) / Office of Communications and Outreach Division. The daily news service will keep ED Employees informed on the most significant education news articles which are collected from newspapers, broadcast transcripts, blogs, news magazines, wire services, and other news sources. Please review the attached Draft Statement of Work entitled "New Clipping Services", for additional details regarding this requirement. The anticipated contract type is Firm Fixed Price. The anticipated period of performance is for 1 base period and 4 possible option periods. Interested Small Businesses are asked to provide the following information in a capability statement submission: (1) Name and Address of Business, (2) Business Size and respective NAICS Codes, (3) CCR and ORCA registration confirmation, (4) A listing of all active GSA or other schedule contracts held, (5) Relevant prior experience - to include at least 2 references for work of similar nature and scope, (6) A listing of all active certifications and security clearances, as they relate to this requirement. All submissions shall not exceed 10 pages (to include cover page, text, graphic, tables, etc.). Responses should be submitted in MS Word with page sizes of 8.5 x 11 inches, Times New Roman Font Size, 10- 12 pitch, with no less than single spacing between lines. Capability Statements must be received by 3:00 PM (EST) on the response date noted for this notice.
