- Description
- The intent for this contract is to secure services for removing culverts on the Smith River Recreation Area of Six Rivers National Forest. Work consists of excavation and embankment, disposal of existing culverts, and the installation of rolling dips and waterbars on approximately nine miles of road. LOCATION: The project is on the Smith River National Recreation Area of Six Rivers National Forest, located in Del Norte County, California. This work is located on Roads 17N92, 15N11A, 16N32C, and 18N03. PRICE RANGE: Between $100,000 and $250,000. ESTIMATED START WORK DATE: September 30, 2009 CONTRACT TIME: 90 calendar days BONDING REQUIRED - Bid Guarantee required with submission of proposal. Solicitation will be a request for proposal requiring both a price and technical proposal responding to the evaluation criteria as shown in the solicitation. Solicitation will be available for downloading from this website on or about August 20, 2009. Interested contractors and subcontractors are requested to self-register at this website to receive email notification of any postings concerning this project, such as amendments.
