- THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER W91QF709T0187. Mission and Installation Contracting Command Center Fort Myer (MICC MYR), is soliciting proposals for a contractor to provide complete storage services for the Department of the Army (DA), Privately Owned Vehicles (POVs) belonging to U.S. Army active military Service Members that are deployed in support of the Global War on Terrorism (GWOT). The POV storage services will be provided to select military units located on Fort Myer Virginia installation, to ensure that Service Members who require POV storage during deployment have the ability to obtain such storage to safeguard their POVs and ensure prompt recovery after such deployments are completed. The contractor is responsible for POV in-processing, storage, security, out-processing and liability claims. The distance between the physical storage site and the contractors VPC is unrestricted, but the Contractor must be able to meet the POV delivery and out-processing time as required by the Performance Work Statement. The contract type will be a Firm Fixed Price type contract with a base period and one 1-year option period. The solicitation will be issued/posted to the FedBiz and will be available for downloading at the fedbizopps website (https://www.fbo.gov) on or about 05 August 2009. The FSC Code is X179 and the NAICS Code is 493190. This an unrestricted procurement.
