- FA5270-09-R-0015-0002 Conformed Document Amendment 0002 SF30 Modification Document IDIQ Contract to Repair Exterior Electrical System at Kadena Air Base and Various US Military Installations, Okinawa, Japan. Work includes, but is not limited to, demolition of existing transformer and switchgear including enclosures and associated concrete pads, removal of medium voltage and low voltage cables from existing poles, conduit and raceways both above ground and underground, installation of transformer and switchgears, installation of medium voltage (13.8 kV) underground distribution cabling, installation of concrete encased duct banks, installation of medium voltage cable splices and terminations, installation of concrete junction pedestal, installation of concrete manholes and handholes, installation of low voltage (600 volts and below) service equipment, load centers, distribution panels, and associated conduit and cablings, and incidental related work in accordance with Contract specifications and drawings. The Pre-Proposal Conference/Site Visit will take place on 10 August at 0900 (9:00 AM). Personnel desiring to participate in the pre-proposal conference are required to utilize the government provided bus which 18th Contracting Squadron will arrange. No private vehicle will be allowed regardless of possession of base passes for other projects occurring on Kadena Air Base. The bus will depart at 0900 from Kadena Marina, Kadena-Cho. There will be a short introductory conference and a site visit at the site of the seed project. All work shall be accomplished in strict accordance with the contract specifications and subject to the terms and conditions of the contract. Magnitude of this project is over ¥1,143,007,000 Japanese Yen ($10,000,000) in accordance with DFARS 236.204. Exchange Rate of $1 = ¥114.3007 Please note the amendment (0001) to correct the response date on Page 1 of the solicitation. Please note amendment 0002 to update Section M of the solicitation.
