- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center contracting office located in Jacksonville FL intends to award a firm-fixed price contract to Graybar Electric Company Inc. to supply the following: X8224-F cables at 25'X8224-M cables at 100'X8224-M cables at 25'SP Cam-Lock M-F Ext Thof-500E 100' The above cables are required to replace existing because of upgrades incorporated by the Trident Refit Facility. Currently Cooper Crouse-Hinds is the sole manufacturer of the cables (connectors) utilized by the Trident Refit Facility located at Naval Station Kings Bay, GA. The shore power cables are specifically designed for use with the Trident submarines, and used exclusively by the Trident Refit Facility. The anticipated award date is 10 August 2009. The value for this award is $122,858.48. This notice is not a request for competitive quotations. This notice is not a request for expressions of interest (EOIs), proposals, or quotations. No solicitation document exists, and no telephone inquiries will be accepted. No contract award will be made on the basis of EOIs, proposals, or quotations in response to this notice.
