- Description
- The contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, equipment, materials, supplies and supervision necessary to collect and dispose of loose trash, refuse, and non-edible garbage from Government property. Container size will be 8-yard containers and 30-yard containers. The work is located at Boston National Historical Park: Charlestown Navy Yard and 15 State Street. The exact locations of containers to be placed in the Navy Yard will be specified by the Contracting Officer or his/her representative.The Base Contract Performance Period is October 1, 2009 through September 30, 2010. The Government reserves the right to exercise its option to renew the contract for up to four one-year option periods ending September 30, 2014, subject to the availability of funding. It is the responsibility of Contractor to inspect, accurately measure and ascertain site conditions for proper ordering and installation of equipment. Contractor shall be responsible for cleaning up work area at the end of each workday and will perform a thorough cleanup at the completion of the project. The National Park Service anticipates entering into a firm fixed-price contract as a result of this solicitation. The NAICS code and size standard for this procurement are 562111 and $12.5 million. Only one award shall be made. The information on where to submit bids will be in the solicitation documents. A completed bid package shall include one copy of completed SF1449, Sollicitation, Contract/Order for Commercial Items with original signature; completed bid schedule and completed Section K, Representations and Certifications. Award will be made to the responsive and responsible quoter whose bid will be most advantageous to the government, This solicitation is subject to P.L. 100-656 Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and is subject to full and open competition and is issued on an unrestricted basks.
