- Description
- TThe Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ proposes to modify Contract N68335-09-D-0006 with Lockheed Martin Simulation, Training and Support, Orlando, FL to add a Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) for increased support. The proposed CLIN will be added to the existing contract for Performance Based Logistics (PBL) support of the Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS) to provide Aviation Consolidated Allowance List (AVCAL) and Shore based Consolidated Allowance List (SHORCAL) support. The contractor will be responsible for providing stock assets to ships and shore based activities authorized by the NAVICP Philadelphia Support Equipment (SE) Logistics Manager to requisition CASS assets from the stock system. This proposed new CLIN will require the contractor to acquire, warehouse and distribute authorized AVCAL and SHORCAL requisitions for CASS assets to any authorized Fleet customer seeking to fill emergent CASS requirements at their site. The assets required to fulfill this task pertain only to repairable CASS assemblies. The contractor will begin providing service NLT 1 Dec 09. The Navy intends to procure this effort under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (C)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The Navy does not own current data, drawings, or other specifications to permit full and open competition. A solicitation is not available for this procurement.
